Support the David Nicklas Organ Donor Awareness Foundation
“Greater love has no one than this, that he lay his life down for his friends.”
– John 15:13
Housing For Families
In order to be listed on the transplant waiting list a recipient must live within a certain proximity to a transplant hospital. The David Nicklas Organ Donation Awareness Foundation provides free fully-furnished housings for people waiting a life-saving organ transplant who are too far from a hospital. Housing is provided in a Foundation-owned apartment complex in the heart of DFW.
Organ Donation Awareness
Our foundation promotes awareness of the need of organ donation and the registration of organ donors. Some of our efforts include achieving recognition of Organ Donor Awareness Day in Grand Prairie, Organ Donor Awareness Day with the Texas Rangers, and a scholarship program.
